The Techstars Industries of the Future Accelerator’s three, world-class partners including Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Tennessee Valley Authority, and the University of Tennessee helped make sure James Crowell was more than ready to build out his company’s mapping business.
Crowell, the founder and CEO of Crow Industries, participated in the Knoxville, Tennessee program’s second class. Crow Industries specializes in obtaining data from extreme environments for researchers, governments and industry, and is a great example of the kind of company Brandon Bruce, managing director, is looking for.
“We like to focus in areas including AI, quantum, energy, mobility, logistics and bio,” said Bruce, who wants founders who are poised to transform their industry.
Founders interested in meeting mentors and gaining expertise in business development, product-market fit, and raising capital should apply to the program by Nov. 29.
